    Entertaining “humerous female sleuth” which had me guessing until the last pages! Liked the cast of characters who reminded me of the ones in the Janet Evanovich series! Want to read more of Anne R Tan!

    I’m 1/4 into the book and it’s like dragging its feet to get to anything exciting. It’s kind of boring and not sure if I want to continue. The characters are very 2D and background stories seem to pop out of no where. Very slow read.

    Raina gets into many scrapes! There is plenty of action, and the murderer is revealed at the end. It’s a good book!

    Full of more twists than untangeling curley hair. Think Murder She Wrote meets Stephanie Plum's bad luck for getting into trouble. Sex without details and blody violence are off screen, but talked about. Good beginning to a series, but readers may want to take notes to follow all the action.
